Power Generating Inc. (“PGI” or the “Company”), a Texas Corporation, was incorporated on May 14, 1982, as a renewable energy provider, to produce “green” electricity and thermal energy on a cost competitive basis. From its inception, the Company was devoted to the design and development of small (1.5 - 10 MW), biomass-fueled, cogeneration systems, producing both heat and electric power. The waste heat can also be fed into a waste heat recovery boiler to produce steam for process applications, to generate additional electricity by using a steam turbine (combined cycle), for distillation to produce potable water, for chiller applications, or for any of a number of other industrial uses for heat.
